	Comment:	I enjoyed reading this site. Most of the entries are clear and concise. My only concern is with the authors' dismissal of McLuhan's Catholicism. They write about the "well-founded charges that McLuhan's utopian views on new media are [amongst other things] typically Catholic in their mysticism and communalism...." Such remarks -- not atypical amongst many of McLuhan's commentators -- betray a very shallow understanding of Catholic intellectual history. It would be nice for a change for these McLuhan scholars to actually read some of the seminal work of those Catholic thinkers who profoundly shaped McLuhan's ideas. These include Aquinas, Chesterton, and Teilhard de Chardin. More >>
