Henry A. "Burb" Burbidge, ca. 1890-1895

Henry Burbidge was a friend of King during university days. The diary contains many references to him. This photograph of Henry Burbidge, Wilfred Campbell, Norman Duncan and Mackenzie King (clockwise from back right) is from King's personal collection.

Henry Burbidge, known as "Burb", was a classmate of King at the University of Toronto and a very good friend. King's diary for his student years contains many enthusiastic and affectionate references to "Burb." King was a regular visitor to the Burbidge home.

Burbidge was also a friend of King's friend Bert Harper, and when Harper died, King and Burbidge together sent a floral tribute, featuring roses, the name "Bert" and three links, one broken.
