Florence Moore was a Secretary-Stenographer on Mackenzie King's staff from 1930 onwards. She is mentioned frequently in the diary. During the war, she was responsible for, among other things, scheduling King's engagements.
She was an important and respected member of the staff. In his will, King bequeathed $500 to her.
Later, when J.W. Pickersgill was preparing the book The Mackenzie King Record, Miss Moore helped with the typing of the manuscript.
