This piece is a Chinese Chippendale Chinoiserie carved gilt wood over-mantle mirror, flanked by ho-ho birds with foliate "c" and "s" scrolls, and with a lower shell carved central cartouche. It has been conserved at Parks Canada’s Ontario Service Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
This piece is an English bookcase from the William Lyon Mackenzie King Collection, possibly dating from the late 19th century. It is a low bookcase made from mahogany and satinwood and rosewood veneers. It has extremely decorative hand painted floral stringing and gothic style glass doors. It has been conserved at Park’s Canada’s Ontario Service Centre in Ottawa.
