Canada Book Auctions fonds. - 1979-1983. - 4.6 m of textual record.
Antiquarian bookseller Bernard Amtmann, launched Canada Book Auctions initially as Montreal Book Auctions in 1967, in order to develop the market in Canada for Canadian books. When the business relocated from Montreal to Toronto in 1979 it was renamed Canada Book Auctions. The business declined in 1982 and the Board of Directors voted to close it in 1983.
The fonds includes correspondence, meeting minutes, financial records, typescripts of catalogues and auctioneer's catalogues.
