Introduction
In this educational resource, students must analyze the role of the individual in creating social change. They will explore how key people and organizations contribute to change within a society, using examples of members and organizations from Canada's historical Black communities.
Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- explore the dynamics of social change.
- understand the struggle of different social groups for human rights.
- recognize the relationship between historical events and present-day social issues.
