Scope and content
Sub-series consists of original letters sent to J.W. Trutch, Resident Agent of the Canadian Government at Victoria, British Columbia. These records were created and maintained by the Dominion Lands Branch. Cartographic material consists of a map from a collection of correspondence to J.W. Trutch; letter with which this map is associated is dated 1884. Map is entitled "Port Moody, the Western Terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway", 8 chains to 1 inch, showing the cadastral subdivision of lots 190, 191, 201 and 202 with manuscript additions, and was lithographed by A. Mortimer, Ottawa.
