Scope and content

Sub-series consists of parish returns for Original White Settlers. The term "Original White Settler" applied to residents of the Province of Manitoba who came into the Red River country between the years 1813 and 1835 under the auspices of Lord Selkirk. The term also applied to the children of these settlers.
