Scope and content

Sub-series consists of land records relating to railway companies. These records include files concerning the Manitoba and South Western Railway Company between 1870 and 1926 (Vol. 1652), the Manitoba and North Western Railway Company between 1881 and 1902 (Vol. 1653), and the Alberta Railway and Coal Company between 1883 and 1930 (2 copies, Vols. 1654-1655 and 3170). The sub-series also contains miscellaneous papers dating from 1880 to 1900 (Vols. 3170).
