Engraving depicts a representation of Christ on the cross planted on the ramparts of the city of Arras, France on March 19, 1738 by the Jesuit missionary from Quebec, Francois Xavier Duplessis. A group of men surround and worship the cross on the ramparts, while a group of priests stands below.
