Scope and content

Mounted and framed in cardboard. Acquired sometime before the initial cataloguing date of 14/11/30, written on the verso. Image depicts a view of the water at La Malbaie, Quebec, with people in horse-drawn carriages ascending a hill in the foreground. A ship called the Union is docked on the water. The artist "B.K." is likely B. Kroupa, active in the 1870s in Montreal. This image is after a sketch by E. Jump.
