Image depicts a busy picnic scene at St. Helen's Island, Montreal, with crowds of well-dressed people walking around the grass. The artist "B.K." is likely B. Kroupa, active in the 1870s in Montreal. Acquired sometime before the initial cataloguing date of 14/11/30, written on the verso.
