This print (of unknown provenance) is from the series "Songs of the By-Town Coons" of which a complete series of the caricatures can be found under acc. no. 1984-164-1 and 1984-164-2. This is a page from the Montreal Daily Star showing four sketches by H. Julien of the Hon. Israel Tarte, with song lyrics. He is shown in four different poses, flailing his arms and legs and holding something between his fingers.
