Scope and content

Image depicts a group of four figures, one of which is a kneeling boy on the left. Britannia stands in the centre, with a shield at her feet; behind her is King George, who points with a sceptre and observes a seated weeping woman. At their feet are maps of Corsica and North America. The group is situated to the right of a structure with Doric columns, infront of a large ship.
