Portée et contenu

Item consists of a print entitled "View of the Town of St. Andrew's, New Brunswick, with its magnificent Harbour and Bay". Work is by Frederick Wells (active ca. 1840-1855), lithography by Day & Son, London, England.
Condition is fairly poor but item is stable for handling. Original paper is damaged, with vertical creases and losses left and right edges, and on the body, u.l., u.r. and l.r. corners. The print has been cropped. The print is laid down to a linen backing. The backing is inscribed on the verso l.l. on the vertical: C-16386 [underlined] [Section / at left].
