Double-sided page of an illustrated newspaper called "Antique Curiosities", published in Boston in 1870. Recto depicts images (with accompanying text) of "The First Steam Railroad Passenger Train in America", "First Steamboat in the World", "First Steam Locomotive in the World", "New York City in 1650", "The Old Liberty Bell", and "Independence Hall in 1776". Verso is entitled "First Newspaper ever printed in America", and features reprinted text from The Boston Newsletter, published in April 1704.
