Recto : double-page image by Robert Harris entitled "A Glimpse of the Skating Carnival", depicting a crowd of people ice-skating, including children (left) and a jester (right). The focus is on a man and woman in the centre who gaze at each other while holding hands. Verso: On one page, there are two images, entitled "The Mammoth Ice Lion", depicting an ice sculpture with a lion perched at the top, and "The Ice Condora", depicting a pyramidal ice castle surrounded by a crowd and fireworks, with the figure of a man on top. On the second verso page, there is an image by H. Julien entitled "The Montreal Tandem Club Turn-Out", depicting people riding in horse-drawn sleighs, while a lone male figure stands at the left.
