Image depicts a ship at sea, led by the French admiral Charles d'Amboise, who was the French governor of Milan during the reign of Louis XII. He was admiral of France from 1508 to 1510. Two of the men in the boat are standing - one stands at the helm, looking out towards other ships on the water, and the other man, opulently dressed, holds an object to his mouth.
