Biography / Administrative history

George Macoun born at Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland, emigrated to Canada and served in the Active Militia with Internment Operations from February, 1915 to September, 1919. He enlisted at Kapuskasing, Ontario with the 2nd Canadian Garrison Regiment in September, 1919 and was honourably discharged in May, 1920. He died at Lindsay, Ontario in 1955.
