Scope and content
Series consists of a wide variety of personal files and memorabilia retained by Mackenize King arranged according to subject. There are correspondence and account files with many of King's health professionals as well as files pertaining to his clothing, insurance and motor cars. Other files document King's involvement with St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. King also maintained files of personal correspondence with staff members, including J.W. Pickersgill as well as important figures with the Department of External Affairs, such as Arnold Heeney, Lester B. Pearson and Norman Robertson. The series also contains files on King's estate, and newspaper clippings pertaining to King's death. There are also files of memorabilia collected and retained by King. These include birthday and Christmas cards, invitations and calling cards received by King.
