The miscellaneous papers series consists of Rev. William King's manuscript autobiography; a typed transcript of his autobiography, 130 pages, dated 1892; correspondence, 1847-1889; records relating to the Buxton Mission and the Elgin Association; printed material relating to slavery in the United States and the anti-slavery movement; and personal manuscripts and legal papers documenting his life in Scotland, United States, and Canada.
