Scope and content

Series consists of correspondence between Walsh and his wife Anne (Weir) Walsh during his internment in 1941-1942, other personal correspondence received by William Walsh during 1943-1945 and by Anne Walsh during 1941-1942, letters written by William Walsh while overseas and other papers concerning his war service, notes concerning organizing activities in the Draftsmen's Association of Ontario, correspondence and notes regarding his resignations from the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers and from the Communist Party of Canada. The correspondence to Anne (Weir) Walsh includes prisoner-of-war correspondence from her brother, Charles Weir, during his internment at Internment Camp H and at Petawawa Internment Camp, 1941-1942.
