Scope and content
Series consists of microfilmed correspondence between Dick Steele and his wife Esther Slonimsky Steele when Dick Steele was interned in the Don Jail and later when he served in the Canadian Army; correspondence between William Walsh and his wife Anne (Weir) Walsh during the same period; other incoming and outgoing correspondence of these individuals; and miscellaneous materials such as clippings and print matter. The correspondents include several individuals active in the labour movement, the Labour Progressive Party, and other organizations. Available on microfilm reels M-5445 to M-5447.
