Scope and content

Series consists of newspaper clippings and photographs relating to the career and activities of E.C. Mark, publisher of the Shing Wah Daily News. This material also documents the relief efforts of the Chinese Canadian community after the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, the activities of the Chinese Nationalist League of Canada (Kuomintang), Eastern Division, and the Chinese Patriotic Federation of Ontario. There are photographs of executive members and of 2 airplanes bought for the distribution of leaflets.
