This series includes documents relating to the seigniory, part of the estate of Louis-Joseph-Amédée Papineau. The records relate to the activities of Joseph, Louis-Joseph and Denis-Benjamin Papineau as well as of some members of the Bourassa family. They have been arranged roughly according to geography (under the names of the 'côtes'). Items which could not be filed under a single geographical heading were filed by subjects.
