Scope and content

Series consists of progress diaries and inspection reports on the construction of the CANOL and ALCAN (Alaska Highway) projects. The CANOL diary which is most extensive document at 1249 pages comes with a card index. Also included are draft manuscripts for "the CANOL Adventure" 1947 and 1971, and the thesis by G.P. Kershaw "The Ecological Consequences: CANOL Pipeline 1983-1984".
