Scope and content
Series consists of records created by the RCMP in the course of investigating members of the Doukhobor in British Columbia during this time period. The files document the activities and lifestyles of members of the Doukhobor group, as well as the activities and background and conditions amongst the group in general. The files also document the investigations of specific incidents including explosions, arson, damage, nudity. The records include crime reports, penitentiary statements, confession briefs, miscellaneous correspondence, letters, notes, and petitions. Many of the files deal with the investigations of community leaders, and with possible targets.
