Biography / Administrative history
Created in 1973 from the Financial Statistics Branch, the Business Statistics Field was responsible for the collection, processing and publication of statistics from business firms. The field ceased to exist in 1979 when it was amalgamated with the Economic Accounts and Integration Field to form the Economic Statistics Field.
