Series consists of the core central registry files of the Ottawa headquarters of the federal office responsible for immigration. The series contains records from the various registry systems that have been employed by headquarters from inception to the present. The series includes the following sub-series: First central registry system, Second central registry system (500 block), Third central registry system (5000 block), Forth central registry system (8000 block), and Secret file system.
