Series consists of miscellaneous files created and maintained by the office of the Indian Commissioner, Regina and Winnipeg. The records include agents', doctors' and police reports concerning various bands and reserves, 1883-1901.

Copyright belongs to the Crown. In order to protect the fragile originals, the microfilm copies of these records must be consulted rather than the originals.

Biography / Administrative history
The Office of Indian Commissioner was opened at Winnipeg in 1871. It was moved to Regina in 1887 and back to Winnipeg in 1897. The office was abolished in 1909. RG10 General Inventory.
