The series includes general receipts, including one from Sir Edmund Walker for Johnston's war work, 1919, ones from J.E.H. MacDonald for rent on Thornhill premises, and one from C.W. Jefferys; receipts for art society dues; property deeds and correspondence with architect Harold Watson; insurance records; some income tax returns; and records of dealings with J. Merritt Malloney's Gallery and Eaton's. Included is a map of the Senneterre property co-owned by Franz Johnston as part of the Fisher Quebec Prospecting Syndicate and related material, 1927.
