Series consists of copies of press releases and communiques issued by the National War Finance Committee to promote the sale of the Fourth Victory Loan. During the Second World War, the National War Finance Committee promoted the sale of Victory Loans to the public as a means of raising money for the war effort. The Committee was established in Ottawa by the Department of Finance on Jan 7., 1942 and ceased to exist ca.1947. RG19 General Inventory
