Biography / Administrative history
The British Commonwealth Air Training Plan was an agreement signed in December 1939 by Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, whereby Canada became the focus of an Empire-wide scheme to train aircrew. This undertaking represented a substantial Canadian contribution to the Allied cause during the Second World War. RG19 General Inventory
