Biography / Administrative history

The Under-Secretary of State was the Assistant to the Secretary of State. The Centennial Commission reported to Parliament through the Secretary of State. During this period, the position was filled by the civil servant G.G.E. Steele. The Assistant Under-Secretary of State was H.O.R. (Henry) Hindley. C.J.
