Biography / Administrative history
The Centennial Commission established regional offices in each of the provinces to coordinate projects and serve as information offices for press, radio and television representatives, as well as the general public. The Director of Regional Offices was located in Ottawa and was responsible for the supervision and coordination of the activities of the various Regional Offices. John (Jack) Golding served as Director until 1967 when F.L. (Frank) Wallace replaced him. Mr Wallace had formerly been the Director of the Nova Scotia regional office. RG69 General Inventory
