Scope and content

File is an album containing photographs on the C.G.S. Arctic Expedition commanded by J.D. Craig and Captain Bernier in 1922. Included are scenes in Quebec prior to departure, settlements and Eskimo in Greenland, Inuit in Baffin Island, Bylot Island, Craig Harbour, Dundas Harbour and Salmon River. As well, there are photographs of a storm at sea on the homeward voyage, outposts, native costume and the midnight sun. Unknown photographer though possible William Harold Grant.
