Scope and content

Album contains photographs taken in the Western Canadian Arctic ca. 1930-31. Included are views of Inuit, their activities, hunting, fishing, traditional dances; 'Paddy' Gibson of the HBC, Bill Seymour (who had lived in the Arctic for 40 years), various Northern trappers, dog teams, building an igloo, shots of filming the Inuit actors, probable site of the Inuit massacre by Hearne's Indians, views of Bloody Falls, etc.
