Album contains prints taken by Bailey Bros. of Vancouver, British Columbia. Some prints are marked Bailey and Neeland and are restricted to the year 1891 when George Neeland temporarily joined the firm. The album documents views along the Canadian Pacific Railroad between 1890 and 1895, focussing on spetacular Rocky Mountains scenery, engineer achievements such as bridges, tunnels, trestles and snow sheds along the route. Views include: Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Kicking Horse Pass, Rogers Pass, Albert Canyon, Fraser Canyon, Leanchoil Range, Beaver Canyon, British Columbia; Bow River Canyon, Alberta; Niagara Falls, Ontario. Subjects include: The Selkirk Mountains and the Glacier, Mt. St. Stephen, Cathedral Mountain, British Columbia; the 'Loop' Slekirks, British Columbia; felling timber, Anglo-B.C. Packing Co. (Salmon); Cree Indian Camp; The Glacier Hotel; C.P.R. Train and passengers; C.P.R. Hotel, Banff, interior of snow shed, etc. One print by Edwards Bros.
