Scope and content
Sub-series consists of personnel registers and indexes, including several lists of officers and men. The sub-series includes such records as nominal rolls, engagement and discharge records, and defaulters books (Vols. 2651-2727; reel T-4518). Also included are an incomplete set of records relating to old series regimental numbers, (Vol. 2673, reel T-4518); an alphabetical nominal roll to regimental numbers 1 to 9000, (Vol. 2685, reel T-4518); N.C.O. and constable seniority rolls dated 1974, (Vol. 3546); and a register of officers promotions covering the period 1873 to 1962, (Vol. 3559).
