Biography / Administrative history

Between 1885 and 1892 the Hobbema Agency in the North-West Territories was known as the Peace Hills Agency. The first agent was appointed in 1884. The agency was responsible for bands in the Treaty 6 region of Alberta. These bands included the following: Bobtail; Buck Lake; Ermineskin; Louis Bull; Samson; and Sharphead.
