Scope and content

Sub-sub-series consists of immigration passenger manifests for ships arriving at the port of Vancouver - including ships making intermediate stops at some U.S. and Canadian Pacific ports, 4 January 1905 to 29 September 1922. These records list a significant number of immigrants arriving from East Asian ports (especially from India, China, and Japan).

This microfilm was produced by the Department during the 1950's and 1960's under microfilm authority M6-62. The originals were then destroyed.
