Finding aid

Textual records: The finding aid is an unverified typed list which provides the file number and name of each immigrant. There exists, as well, a list of the contents of the deportation case file microfilm reels, which is broken down by the file number and name of each immigrant, but not by the reel on which they appear. The latter finding aid is in the possession of the archivist. Both finding aids are closed. 76-257 (Paper)

Additional information

Accession consists of headquarters case files. Generally, the files consist of various forms used by departmental officials, supporting documentation, and correspondence relating to the individual immigrant. This accession also consists of microfilmed deportation records relating to individual immigrants, for the years 1951 to 1965.

Custodial history
File HQ6-43214 wal.1 was received at a latter date than the rest of the accession, with registration 2011-0015.
