Biography / Administrative history

The Manitoba Regional Office was one of the offices responsible for administering the regional operations program of the Secretary of State. The regional operations program provides services to individuals and organizations in all regions of the country by administering Secretary of State programs (especially granting and educational programs) and by providing information and other services that fulfill the Department's primary mandate to foster a sense of belonging to Canada. The regional offices also ensure that regional priorities and interests are considered for the development of departmental policies and programs.
