These records are the investigation case files and occurrence files created by the operational divisions and detachments across Canada. The records contain information on individuals and organizations who were investigated under the Criminal Code of Canada, federal and provincial statutes, territorial ordinances and municipal by-laws. There are files in this accession on alleged War Criminals, including Nazi War Criminals, organized crime, motorcycle gangs, members of the FLQ. There are files on Native Militancy, on child abuse in Catholic Schools, on Doukhobors and files prepared for the Donald Marshall Jr. inquiry. There are also files on the protection of VIPs including national and international leaders.
