It includes portraits and miniatures of family members, political figures and friends, landscapes, city views and genre scenes by J.W.L. Forester, Frank Salisbury and numerous other artists. There are also caricatures by Les Callan, Bob Chambers, Jack Booth, John Collins, David Low, Illinsworth, and E. Knight. The collection includes one album composed of thirty-five watercolours of East Indian gods and a 152 page publication by J. Arthur Lemay entitled "Milles Tetes" which contains 482 heliogravure portraits of notable Canadians such as Arthur Doughty, William Lyon Mackenzie King, O.D. Skelton and Duncan Campbell Scott. In addition, the series contains a print entitled "The Founding of Australia", two "Tobacco" prints of Sir Wilfrid Laurier by J.W.L. Forester and assorted material, 1908-1948, largely consisting of reproductions of design proposals for various commemorative monuments/squares. These include reproductions of various drawings for the proposed National War Memorial Terrace by Jacques Gréber; reproductions of drawings of Ottawa views, the Senate Chamber floorplan, an etching of the Peace Tower by John A. Parson, a design for a proposed commemorative square in Ottawa by W. Chalmers and a design for the Terrrace Wall at the Parliament Buildings by Marshall Wood. There are also ceremonial dinner menus by Derso and Kelen for a League of Nationals dinner held in Switzerland, some poster type material relating to war savings, pulp and paper industry, etc; reproductions of paintings and of coats-of-arms and postcards.
