Scope and content

The series documents Samuel Rollin Hesson's social and personal activities, particularly as a member of a number of social organizations, including the Avon Fish Protection Society, the Stratford Brass Band and the United Empire (U.E.) Club. Also included in the series are a funerary medal for Sir John A. Macdonald and a silhouette portrait of Charles Ashton Hesson (1860-1936).
