Scope and content

Subject depicts a bay with one large sail boat, and one smaller sailboat. There are houses on the right bank and mountains in the distance.
This is suggested to be the work of Mary Caroline Hale, wife of Wm. Amherst Hale (1809-44). More research needs to be done to confirm this.
