album restauré; fait de papier vélin marron, reliure de cuir rouge brunâtre, étui assorti (52.0 x 37.3 cm); 56 folios, dont 17 recadrés avec des estampes de papier vélin fixées; le premier folio et le dernier sont attachés à la couverture; une étiquette de cuir fixée au devant de la couverture porte cette inscription : COLOURED PLATES / TO ACCOMPANY / HERIOT'S TRAVELS / IN THE / CANADAS; le devant de l'étui porte la même étiquette.
