Scope and content

This drawing is reproduced in Edward Roper's "By Track and Trail, A Journey Through Canada" (London, 1891), facing p.379.
On the verso of the secondary support is the upper portion of a design for a title page for "By Track and Trail" depicting the title in black block letter, a train, two totem poles and a mountain range.
The lower half of the illustration is on the verso of the secondary support of accession number 1989-176-50.
