Scope and content

On the verso is a pen and black ink sketch of a landscape entitled "Mt. Baker & the Fraser River from in front of Indian Village, Port Hammond". The names of colours desired for the sketch have been labelled by the artist in the appropriate areas, as well as some identifications of objects such as snow, low trees, siwashes, floating log, grass and weeds.
There is also an edited telegram message on the verso.
